MBA689 GLOBAL STRATEGY 3 CREDIT

This course focuses on the strategic challenges confronting firms which compete in the global economy. The competition in a global industry for sources and markets strongly influences the corporate performance of multinational firms. This requires development of global strategy to direct them. The course aims to enhance understanding of how concepts from marketing, finance, logistics, global scale economies and management of diversity, among others, are used to create competitive advantage. The course uses an interactive, international corporate simulation to help the student develop global strategy.
